Luke 4 Life

The news was an interesting read today. The roman Catholic archdiocese of Dublin has reported that over 3.5 percent of its priests are suspected of abusing over 350 children since 1940.

5 soldiers were arrested in Georgia suspected of beating a man for the "crime" of being gay.

Home of the Free

Can I ask, what the heck is going on?

Does the world seem like it is simply drifting off course more and more?

I get more and more frustrated daily by the news and events in the world. I do not understand how people can be so cruel to each other. I am even more saddened when people who claim Christianity then proceed to live like the rest of the world.

I believe it is time for a revolution of sorts. We need a Revival in the church,m but since the Holy Spirit is in charge of revivial and it is not up to u to start one. Perhaps we should start a revolution. We need good men, women, and children to stand up and say.."ENOUGH"

It is enough of the nonsense. It is enough of the hostility. It is enough of the greed. It is enough of the hate. It is enough of the arrogance. It is enough of the pride. It is enough of the moral indfference. It is just plain enough.

We need people in the church to look to to the church and hold it accountable. We need people who are willing to say I don't care about the consequences, I just want to see some change.

I want to start living a Luke 4 life (at least that is what I call it). Jesus stands in the synagogue and tells the people that this is the year. He is here to preach the good news to the poor, free the captives and oppressed. In other words, Jesus is here to stand the world on its ear and is demanding that we join him in that endeavor.

So, I believe God is once again calling his people to live a Luke 4 life. He is calling us to make a difference. God is calling us to help change this world.

Come Holy Spirit Come!

God is calling...are we going to answer?
