Eyes on the Prize

That morning as we stood on the Mount of Olives and looked over to Jerusalem, we were reminded that this was pretty much the view that Jesus had that is captured in Luke 13: 31-35. The day he was told of Herod's desire to kill him.

On that day Jesus looked over at Jerusalem and his eyes were looking at his mission.....the people....

He would not be deterred. Threats of violence would not stop him.

He set his sights on God's call for him and then he went.

He had the right vision and the right action.

My prayer today is that I also have the right vision and follow it up with doing the right thing.

My prayer for you is the same.

Amen.
